Christopher Kyle was raised in Texas, where he studied Digital Imaging at Texas State Technical College and UT Austin before moving to Long Island in 2006. Once on the Island, he worked as a financial and promotional coordinator for Elite Marketing Group, a small marketing firm in New Hyde Park, before taking a position at Vision Long Island as Program Coordinator. Chris believes in the message of Smart Growth and is working to bring those principles to his adopted hometown of Huntington Station by participating in such programs as the Gateway Community Garden and Source the Station while also making sure to shop locally in Huntington Village. A regular at the weekend farmer’s markets, him and his wife, Elissa, believe in the power of community and the future of Long Island via smart and sustainable development..
